Freshly repainted home exterior in the NC Triad

Why repaint the exterior

It's more than curb appeal — it's the first line of defense against NC weather.

Protection

Shields wood and siding

Humidity, heat, and freeze-thaw cycles break paint down over time. A fresh, properly primed coat keeps moisture out of the wood underneath.

Early detection

Catches damage before it spreads

Our surface prep process often turns up rot, cracked caulk, or failing trim. Catching it early means a small fix, not an expensive one.

Curb appeal

Changes how the whole house reads

A repaint is one of the highest-impact updates for resale value and how a home is perceived from the street.

Commercial

Keeps storefronts looking active

Faded or peeling paint on a business reads as neglected. A clean exterior signals the business inside is cared for too.

How we do it

The prep work is what makes a repaint last. We don't skip it.

Step 01

Wash

Every exterior job starts with a wash to remove dirt, mildew, and chalking paint, so the new coat bonds properly.

Step 02

Scrape & sand

Failing paint is scraped and sanded back to a sound surface. Rot or damage found along the way gets flagged for repair or replacing before we paint over it.

Step 03

Prime & caulk

Bare wood is spot-primed and gaps are caulked and sealed, closing the entry points water uses to get behind the surface.

Step 04

Paint & walk it with you

Two full coats, sprayed for an even finish on complicated areas like boxing and gutters. Windows, plants, and surfaces we're not painting are covered and protected throughout. We walk the finished job with you before we invoice.

Common questions

How long does an exterior repaint take?

Most single-family exterior repaints run 3-5 working days depending on square footage, prep needed, and weather. You'll get a firm timeline in your written estimate.

Do we pressure wash before painting?

Yes. Every exterior job starts with a wash to remove dirt, mildew, and chalking paint, so the new coat bonds properly and lasts.

What surfaces do we paint?

Siding, trim, brick, stucco, cedar panels, decks, and doors. We prep and paint the surface you have, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

What's covered by the workmanship warranty?

Every job includes a 2-year workmanship warranty covering peeling, cracking, or adhesion issues tied to our prep and application, not normal wear from weather or age.

Can we help pick a color?

Yes. Ask about a color consultation with one of our professional designers, or try the Inspiration Station on our homepage for real Benjamin Moore color ideas.

Do we work outside of Greensboro?

Yes. We serve Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Jamestown, Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Stokesdale, Archdale, Clemmons, Gibsonville, Burlington, Reidsville, Rural Hall, and the surrounding Triad.
